Trump Ready to Send Europe a Bill

1 min read

Former President Donald Trump released a new campaign video featuring a unique economic pledge.

In the video, Trump says upon his reelection, he would pursue reimbursement from Europe for the cost of rebuilding the United States’ weapons stockpiles, which it has depleted to send supplies to Ukraine.

“Less than three years ago, I’d fully rebuilt the United States military and steered America into such a strong global position,” he said in the four-and-a-half minute long video.

“Twenty-nine months later, the arsenals are empty, the stockpiles are bare, the Treasury is drained, the ranks are being hollowed out, our country has been totally humiliated, and we have a corrupt, compromised president, crooked Joe Biden, who is dragging us into World War III,” he added.

Trump went on to accuse America’s European allies of slacking off when it comes to contributing assistance to Ukraine.

He also criticized the Biden administration for not already addressing the issue, saying he is “too weak and too disrespected to even ask.”

Trump Blasts Biden

Trump has spoken about the apparently unlimited support the Biden administration has chosen to give Ukraine.

“We should not be sending Ukraine our last stockpiles at a time when our own arsenals, according to Crooked Joe Biden, are so perilously diminished,” he said when the Biden administration announced it was sending cluster bombs to the country.

He derided the decision as Biden “dragging us further toward World War III.”

Biden defended the decision, saying the munitions are a temporary measure to make up for the US’s own lack of supply of shells.

“This is a war relating to munitions. And they’re running out of that ammunition, and we’re low on it,” Biden said.

He added that the cluster munitions were only being sent for a “transition period” while the U.S. renews its supplies.
